The company stated that prices across its model lineup will be raised by up to 2 per cent, depending on the variant and configuration in a communique released on Friday here.
The automaker attributed the decision to rising input costs and ongoing macroeconomic pressures that continue to impact the automotive industry. Increasing costs related to raw materials, logistics and manufacturing have compelled the company to undertake a calibrated price adjustment while striving to keep the impact on customers minimal.
Renault India said the price revision has been carefully assessed to balance cost pressures with its commitment to offering competitive value to customers. The company reiterated its focus on delivering high-quality products, reliable after-sales support and an overall ownership experience that remains attractive despite the upward revision.
The move comes at a time when the broader automobile sector is grappling with persistent cost inflation, fluctuating commodity prices and supply chain challenges. Several automakers operating in India have announced or are considering similar price adjustments to offset rising operational expenses.
