Hyderabad, Dec 29 (.) union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Monday described Akhanda 2 Tandavam as a powerful and inspiring film that every Hindu and every Indian must watch, saying it delivers a strong message on the protection of Sanatana Dharma.
The Minister watched the film at Prasad Labs along with noted director Boyapati Srinu and several BJP leaders.
Speaking to the media after the screening, Bandi Sanjay said the film serves as a lesson for those who have strayed from the path of Dharma and underlined the responsibility of society to stand up against injustice.
Praising the film’s theme and execution, he said making a movie centred on Sanatana Dharma requires courage and conviction.
He lauded actor Nandamuri Balakrishna for his performance and congratulated Boyapati Srinu for delivering what he called a socially relevant film blended with strong commercial elements.
Bandi Sanjay also credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for safeguarding Sanatana Dharma and recalled India’s global role during the COVID-19 pandemic, stating that the country was able to develop and supply vaccines worldwide under Modi’s leadership.
He noted with pride that Bharat Biotech, which produced a COVID-19 vaccine, is based in Hyderabad.
Calling for more such films in the future, the union Minister urged people, especially the youth, to watch Akhanda 2 Tandavam and reaffirm their commitment to Dharma and the nation, appealing to those who have “gone astray” to return to the fold of Hindu Dharma.
