Hyderabad, Jan 5 (.): Deccan Gold Mines Ltd., one of India’s few listed gold and critical minerals exploration companies, on Monday declared it has become completely debt-free following the successful completion of its ₹314.70 crore Rights Issue, which closed on December 26, 2025.
In a release , the company announced that it has fully repaid all outstanding loans along with accrued interest up to January 2, 2026, significantly strengthening its balance sheet and enhancing financial flexibility.
Loan repayments included ₹75 crore to Ardent Steels Private Limited, ₹120 crore to Godavari Power & Ispat Limited, and ₹8 crore to Hira Ferro Alloys Limited. Procedural formalities with the Hira Group, including filing satisfaction of charge and release of pledged shares of Geomysore Services (India) Pvt. Ltd., are currently underway.
With this milestone, Deccan Gold expects to improve capital efficiency, accelerate project execution, and reinforce investor confidence.
The development comes as the company advances several gold and critical minerals projects toward drilling, resource development, and production stages.
Commenting on the achievement, Managing Director Dr. Hanuma Prasad Modali said the debt-free status marks a “strategic inflection point,” enabling the company to accelerate exploration, scale up production, and expand its portfolio with a long-term vision.
