Hyderabad, Jan 6 (.) EBG Group, a diversified Indian conglomerate with interests spanning mobility, health, real estate, lifestyle, technology and education, has appointed actor Mrunal Thakur as brand ambassador for its premium wellness-hospitality platform, Carlton Wellness, as it scales operations nationwide and targets revenues of up to Rs 250 crore by FY 2026–27.
The association, effective FY25–26, is part of the group’s strategy to build a regulated, asset-backed and scalable wellness ecosystem combining hospitality, preventive healthcare and longevity-focused offerings, the company said in a release on Tuesday.
Mrunal Thakur will lead brand films, digital campaigns, experiential initiatives and flagship property launches aimed at strengthening Carlton Wellness’s appeal among urban and high-value consumers.
Carlton Wellness is being developed as an integrated platform spanning city and hotel-based wellness spas, destination retreats, boutique resorts and wellness-oriented residential and vacation home projects, with offerings that blend Ayurveda, naturopathy, mindfulness and hydrotherapy with global wellness standards adapted to Indian lifestyles.
Dr. Irfan Khan, Chairman & Founder, EBG Group, said the group plans to expand 20–30 wellness spas across metro and Tier-1 cities by 2026, alongside 4–6 destination retreats, 2–3 boutique wellness resorts and 1–2 luxury wellness residential or vacation home developments.
Key expansion markets include Hyderabad, Bangalore, Surat, Lucknow, Bhubaneswar, Maharashtra, Goa, Kerala, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, NCR and select coastal and nature-led locations, he said.
The EBG–Carlton platform is projecting revenues of Rs 80 – 120 crore in FY 2025–26, scaling to Rs 180–250 crore in FY 2026–27, driven by spa operations and memberships, retreat and resort bookings, licensing and revenue-share models, managed wellness residences, and curated brand collaborations.
Over the next five years, the group aims to establish flagship assets and urban spa leadership by FY26, expand to over 50 wellness touchpoints nationwide by FY28, and position Carlton Wellness as India’s largest regulated wellness network, with planned international forays into GCC and Southeast Asian markets.
