Hyderabad, Jan 9 (.) Hyderabad-based Green Gold Animation on Friday said it has entered into a licensing partnership with Faber-Castell India, a leading name in art and creative products, to introduce Chhota Bheem-themed student art and creative products.
Green Gold Animation is known for creating original children’s animated content and developing Indian intellectual properties, with Chhota Bheem remaining its flagship brand.
The collaboration marks Faber-Castell India’s first licensed character association and represents a significant expansion of Chhota Bheem’s consumer products portfolio.
Under the first phase of the partnership, Faber-Castell India will launch a range of Chhota Bheem-branded products across key student art categories, including watercolour cakes, wax crayons, poster colours, sketch pens, oil pastels, and creative bundling kits.
The products are aimed at encouraging creativity and artistic expression among children while leveraging the character’s strong connect with young audiences.
In a release, Green Gold Animation said the association aligns with its strategy to extend Chhota Bheem’s presence beyond television and films into everyday learning and creative experiences.
The company has been steadily expanding the brand across multiple verticals, including animation, films, gaming, merchandise, and live entertainment.
Commenting on the partnership, Rajiv Chilaka, Founder and CEO of Green Gold Animation, said the collaboration allows the company to integrate Chhota Bheem into children’s creative routines through a globally recognised stationery brand. Faber-Castell India noted that the partnership aims to make creativity more engaging for young learners while maintaining its quality and safety standards.
The launch will be supported by digital campaigns, social media initiatives, creative usage content, and on-ground retail activations across select markets.
Both companies indicated that additional Chhota Bheem-themed products across new categories are planned in the coming months.
