Los Angeles, Jan 20 (.) India’s Collective Artists Network has unveiled its inaugural content slate under ‘HistoryVerse’, featuring stories inspired by Indian mythology and history, reports Variety.
The company revealed eight titles spanning theatrical films and streaming series, produced under ‘Collective Studios’, its newly formed unified production arm that consolidates original content development across all platforms.
The projects draw from iconic figures and traditions, including Hanuman, Krishna, Shiva, Shivaji, Durga, Kali, and Swami Samarth. The previously released AI-powered Mahabharat series marks the first step in ‘HistoryVerse’s’ long-term strategy to adapt culturally rooted material for contemporary audiences.
Among the newly announced titles, three are slated for theatrical release and two as series, with additional projects in various stages of development. The slate is designed to deliver large-scale, immersive narratives that appeal to audiences across multiple demographics and territories.
The productions are AI-native, leveraging generative AI, 3D/CG animation, VFX, and selective live-action elements through the company’s proprietary technology platform. AI tools are used primarily for world-building and environmental design, with AI-driven 3D and animation handling character design and motion.
Live-action reference footage is incorporated selectively to enhance realism, with the production pipeline engineered to meet theatrical, broadcast, and streaming standards.
Vijay Subramaniam, founder and group CEO of Collective Artists Network, said, “I’ve always believed that our folklore is among the richest in the world, and that these stories, woven into the core of our cultural fabric, deserve a global stage.”
“As HistoryVerse grows, our vision goes beyond films and series to include experiences, consumer brands, and gaming; building a larger ecosystem around these stories for audiences to engage with,” he said.
