Hyderabad/ Davos, Jan 24 (.) The Government of Telangana, through its AI innovation platform Aikam, has entered a strategic collaboration with AI CoLab, the MedStar-Georgetown centre for AI in healthcare.
The partnership aims to accelerate the commercialization and real-world deployment of AI solutions across healthcare, public health, and life sciences, an official release said here today.
The alliance will focus on transforming cutting-edge AI research into clinically validated, scalable applications, while developing a pipeline of skilled talent in AI, data science, and health informatics.
It also includes real-world testing of AI-enabled healthcare solutions and structured knowledge exchange to foster collaboration between researchers, technologists, and industry leaders.
Speaking on the occasion, Sanjay Kumar, Special Chief Secretary, Government of Telangana said : “This collaboration underscores Telangana’s commitment to innovation that delivers measurable healthcare impact.”
Phani Nagarjuna, CEO, Aikam said “By linking research, skills, and deployment, we are positioning Telangana as a trusted platform for applied AI in healthcare.”
