New Delhi, Jan 26 (.) A day after delivering a high-voltage performance at his ‘Lollapalooza’ India debut, British rock musician ‘Yungblud’ took to Instagram to thank his fans in India.
The artist enthralled the Mumbai crowd on Day 1 of the festival with his energetic performance, leaving fans in awe.
Sharing a series of pictures and videos from the show, Yungblud described the night as “one of the greatest nights of my life” and promised his fans a return next year.
“70,000 in Mumbai—I want to stay here forever. Rock n roll is alive in India and I’m in love with it. Thank you for one of the greatest nights of my life! See you next year!!!” he wrote.
The viral videos from his set capture Yungblud visibly moved by the crowd’s response, hugging fans, jumping into the audience, and connecting closely with people in the front rows.
Social media erupted with fans expressing how special it was to see an international rock artist so openly overwhelmed by the energy in India. During his set, the singer also paid tribute to rock legend Ozzy Osbourne.
Day 1 of Lollapalooza India featured a lineup of dynamic performances across stages. Electronic artist ‘Knock2’ energized the crowd with heavy beats, synthwave band ‘The Midnight’ transported fans back in time with hits like Sunset and Los Angeles, and Canadian band Mother Mother had the audience singing along to Hayloft.
