Mumbai, Jan 28 (.) UP Warriorz have roped in England wicketkeeper-batter Amy Jones as an injury replacement for Phoebe Litchfield for the remainder of the TATA Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2026, WPL announced on Wednesday.
Litchfield has been ruled out of the ongoing season due to injury after an impressive run with the bat. The Australian youngster scored 243 runs in six matches for UP Warriorz in WPL 2026 before being sidelined.
Jones has represented England in 125 T20 Internationals and has amassed 1,666 runs in the format. The wicketkeeper-batter will join the UP Warriorz squad at a price of Rs 50 lakh.
UPW currently has two wins and four points from six matches, with a poor net run rate of -0.769.
