Hyderabad/New Delhi, Feb 1 (.) The Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) on Sunday welcomed the union Budget 2026–27, terming it bold, reform-oriented and growth-focussed that strengthens India’s export competitiveness, manufacturing base and MSME ecosystem.
In a statement, FIEO President S C Ralhan said the Budget reflects the government’s commitment to sustained economic growth, fiscal prudence, infrastructure expansion and a stable policy environment for trade and investment.
He noted that the strong thrust on manufacturing, MSMEs, infrastructure and services—supported by tax and customs reforms—will help Indian exporters integrate more deeply into global value chains.
The apex exporters’ body particularly welcomed measures to boost domestic manufacturing in high-value sectors, revival of legacy industrial clusters, trade facilitation steps to cut transaction costs, and enhanced support for MSMEs through dedicated funds, TReDS onboarding and credit guarantees.
FIEO also praised the renewed focus on services exports and continued public capex on logistics and energy, saying the Budget lays a solid foundation for achieving the vision of Viksit Bharat and accelerating export-led growth.
