Jammu, Feb 1 (.) The Jammu and Kashmir Kabaddi Association has urged the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to rename Kabaddi Stadium in the name of former union Minister late Prof Chaman Lal Gupta.
J&K Kabaddi Association general secretary, Dr Kuldeep Kumar Gupta, General Secretary today called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha here at Lok Niwas Bhawan and submitted a memorandum demanding the renaming of the Kabaddi stadium after Prof. Chaman Lal Gupta.
Prof. Chaman Lal Gupta was a prominent leader, professor, and dedicated supporter of Kabaddi in the region.
As per the handout, the Lieutenant Governor assured the delegation members that the request would be examined sympathetically.
The J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association expressed gratitude for the meeting and remains optimistic about a positive outcome.
