Chennai, Feb 2 (.) The real estate body CREDAI Chennai today said the proposal
to offer a tax holiday till 2047 to overseas cloud service companies who use data centers
in India in the union Budget presented yesterday was a welcome move.
It said the Finance Ministry has made several steps to create some jobs and all of these
will have some indirect gains for real estate development.
However, the real estate industry has received relatively little in the way of direct advantages,
Mr. Navin Kumar, MD of Navin’s and Treasurer, CREDAI Chennai, said in a statement.
