Kaithal, Feb 2 (.) The players of RKSD College, Kaithal have once again made the institution proud in the field of sports. During the Inter Collegiate State Level Boxing Championship 2025-26 organized at Bhimrao Ambedkar College, which was sponsored by the Department of Higher Education, Panchkula, the men’s and women’s boxing teams of RKSD College performed excellently and won the overall trophy in different weight categories and won many gold, silver and bronze medals.
In the men’s category, Sagar (45–50 kg) won silver, Abhishek (50–55 kg) won bronze, Randeep (55–60 kg) won gold, Ashish (60–65 kg) won bronze, Ankush (65–70 kg) won gold, Gaurav (70–75 kg) won bronze, Karan Kaushik (75–80 kg) won bronze, Mayank (80–85 kg) won bronze, Prince Sharma (85–90 kg)Gold and Sumit Kumar (over 90 kg) brought glory to the college by winning gold medals.
In the women’s category, Geetu (45–48 kg) won silver, Mafi (48–51 kg) won gold, Neetu (51–54 kg) won silver, Himanshi (54–57 kg) won silver, Mamtesh (57–60 kg) won silver, Khushi (60–65 kg) won gold, Hargundeep (65–70 kg) won silver, Ritu (65–70 kg) won silver. (70–75 kg) won gold, Anjali (75–80 kg) won gold Archana (over 80 kg) won the silver medal.
On the basis of collective excellent performance of the players, RKSD College was declared overall champion in both men’s and women’s categories.
