Bengaluru, Feb 4 (.) India’s premier and largest amusement park chain, Wonderla Holidays Ltd, on Thursday reported its highest-ever revenue for the third quarter, driven by the successful launch of its fifth park in Chennai.
The company recorded total income of Rs 14,145 lakh for Q3 FY26, up 12 per cent year-on-year, while quarterly footfalls stood at 9.17 lakh. Chennai, which commenced commercial operations on December 2, 2025, achieved the highest average revenue per user (ARPU) among all Wonderla parks during the quarter.
EBITDA for the quarter stood at Rs 3,217 lakh, reflecting a 13 per cent decline from the same period last year, while profit after tax fell 29 per cent to Rs 1,448 lakh. The decline was partly attributed to one-time adjustments under the new labour code amounting to Rs 8.05 crore.
Park-wise footfalls for the quarter were Bengaluru – 3.08 lakh, Hyderabad – 3.03 lakh, Kochi – 2.07 lakh, Chennai – 0.75 lakh, and Bhubaneswar – 0.24 lakh. For the nine months ending December 31, 2025, Wonderla recorded total income of Rs 40,903 lakh, up 9 per cent year-on-year, with footfalls of 23.40 lakh across all parks.
The company’s resort and hospitality offerings also performed strongly. The new waterside retreat, “The Isle by Wonderla” in Bengaluru, which commenced operations on May 9, 2025, contributed to a significant increase in premium experiences, helping boost ARPU by over 8 per cent year-on-year.
Commenting on the results, Executive Chairman and Managing Director Arun Chittilappilly said, “This quarter represents an important milestone for Wonderla with the successful launch of our Chennai park, which saw strong guest response in its first month. This outcome reflects disciplined execution across park operations, sales planning, and on-ground readiness, supported by focused pre-launch marketing and pricing strategies.”
“Across our portfolio, demand was driven by targeted sales initiatives, growing adoption of digital booking channels, and continued emphasis on customer experience. Our resorts and hospitality businesses delivered their best quarter yet, reinforcing their position as preferred leisure destinations. We remain focused on leveraging technology, operational discipline, and guest insights to build a scalable and sustainable growth platform that creates long-term value for our guests and stakeholders,” he said.
Wonderla Holidays Ltd operates five amusement parks in Kochi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Bhubaneswar, and Chennai. Its portfolio also includes the Wonderla Resort and The Isle by Wonderla in Bengaluru. Since its inception in 2000, over 46 million guests have visited Wonderla parks, solidifying its position as India’s most-visited amusement park chain.
