New Delhi, Feb 8 (.) The iconic Statesman House, located in the heart of the city, Connaught Place, dazzled with a striking light show, depicting the history of The Statesman Vintage and Classic Car Rally on the occasion of its 59th edition on Sunday.
The building, a central Delhi landmark, caught eyeballs with the vibrant visuals showcased by the multi-coloured lights. A large number of people, who had ventured into the area, stopped by to take pictures on their mobiles.
Earlier, the annual rally drew crowds, especially the automobile enthusiasts. A large number of youngsters were present during the flag-off on the bright Sunday morning. The crowd excitedly greeted the vintage and classic wheels that ruled the roads.
The amazing evening light show at the Statesman House began a week back, showcasing historic moments of the iconic rally, which has been taking place since 1964.
Meanwhile, the 59th edition of The Statesman VCCR was flagged off by Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena on Sunday morning from The Statesman House.
Saxena appreciated the rally, calling it a beautiful event, and stressed the need for more of such events in the city.
He congratulated The Statesman and its team for organizing the event.
