Los Angeles, Feb 10 (.) Writer and producer Eric Randall has signed with Paradigm for representation, Variety has learned exclusively. Randall will continue to be represented by Rain and Jackoway Austen.
Randall is best known for writing the 2025 film ‘A Nice Indian Boy’, adapted from Madhuri Shekar’s play of the same name. The film follows a gay Indian man who falls in love with a white man raised by Indian parents, as per Variety.
It starred Karan Soni, Jonathan Groff, Sunita Mani, Zarna Garg, and Harish Patel. A Nice Indian Boy premiered at SXSW in 2024 and was released in theaters in 2025, earning widespread critical acclaim and holding a 95 pc approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
Currently, Randall serves as co-executive producer on the CBS series Elsbeth, a spinoff of The Good Wife and The Good Fight. The show stars Carrie Preston and is helmed by acclaimed creators Robert and Michelle King. In January, CBS renewed Elsbeth for its fourth season, one of ten shows to receive renewals, according to Variety.
Randall also wrote for The CW’s In the Dark, produced by Ben Stiller’s Red Hour Films. He began his career as a writer on Fox’s procedural Bones, penning the penultimate episode of the series’ 12-season run in 2017. Additionally, Randall is known for his 2021 Black List script, American Woman.
