New Delhi, Feb 14 (.) Marking Valentine’s Day, the makers of ‘Battle of Galwan’ unveiled a romantic track titled ‘Main Hoon’ on Saturday. The song features Salman Khan alongside Chitrangda Singh and highlights the emotional core of the upcoming war drama.
According to the makers, ‘Main Hoon’ captures the love within a relationship, reflecting moments of togetherness, shared laughter with family, and the inevitable shift to solitude and longing when separation sets in.
The track, sung by Shreya Ghoshal and Ayan Lall, portrays the emotional contrast in the life of a soldier’s family, from the warmth of happy days at home to the quiet ache that follows when duty calls.
‘Battle of Galwan’ is produced by Salma Khan under the banner of Salman Khan Films, with Apoorva Lakhia directing the project.
Earlier in January, the team released another song, ‘Maatrubhumi’, offering a glimpse into the film’s emotional and patriotic tone. Composed by Himesh Reshammiya with lyrics by Sameer Anjaan, the track is sung by Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal and aims to evoke strong patriotic sentiments.
The teaser, which was unveiled in December last year, introduced Salman Khan as an Indian Army officer. It showcased him in a restrained and intense avatar, set against visuals of harsh terrain, freezing weather and close combat, highlighting the challenges faced by soldiers stationed at high altitudes.
Based on the 2020 Galwan Valley clash between India and China, ‘Battle of Galwan’ is slated for release on April 17.
