New Delhi, Feb 16 (.) Vice Chairman of the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC), Kuljeet Singh Chahal, on Monday conducted a detailed review of complaints received during the ‘India AI Impact Summit 2026’ at the Council’s Command & Control Centre and directed officials to resolve all issues within a strict time-bound framework.
Chahal informed that between February 14 and 16 (till 3:35 pm), a total of 235 complaints were received.
He said all complaints have been forwarded to the concerned departments and have been resolved, while a few are under process and will be addressed within the day to ensure that no inconvenience is caused during the Summit.
According to official details, 50 complaints pertained to the Health Department, 42 to the Civil Engineering Department, 37 to the Public Works and Civil Maintenance wing, 16 to the Horticulture Department, 15 to the Electrical Department, 13 to the Enforcement Department (North), and 13 to the Parking Management System.
Emphasising the Summit’s theme ‘Sarvajan Hitaya, Sarvajan Sukhaya’ welfare of all and happiness of all Chahal said NDMC is working in alignment with the principles of people, environment and progress.
He added that the Council is continuously striving to make the capital clean, inclusive and future-ready by adopting these values.
The Vice Chairman stated that the India AI Impact Summit 2026 will showcase India’s technological capabilities and global leadership on the world stage.
“This Summit is among the most significant global events ever hosted by a developing nation and will prove to be a historic milestone in India’s journey towards AI leadership,” he said.
Chahal added that the entire NDMC team is working round the clock to ensure the successful and grand conduct of the Summit.
“All necessary preparations have been completed to make the NDMC area clean, beautiful and green. The team is working with full dedication and commitment to ensure a grand, safe and well-organised welcome for all guests arriving from India and abroad, and to ensure that they face no inconvenience of any kind,” he said.
