Los Angeles, Feb 18 (.) Bad Bunny is set to perform in Tokyo on March 7 as part of Spotify’s Billions Club Live concert series, marking his first-ever show in both Japan and Asia, according to Variety.
The special performance will feature the 28 songs from his catalog that have each surpassed one billion streams on Spotify. Although the concert takes place during his ongoing “Debí Tirar Más Fotos” world tour, it is being promoted as a standalone, one-night-only event celebrating his milestone achievements on the platform.
The Tokyo date was first hinted at in May 2025, when fans spotted a tentative March stop in the city alongside the Spotify logo on the tour itinerary. The concert will be staged exclusively for Bad Bunny’s top Spotify listeners in Japan, making it a curated, fan-focused event, according to Variety.
Bad Bunny joins a roster of global stars who have participated in Spotify’s Billions Club Live series. Previous exclusive performances include Ed Sheeran in Dublin, Miley Cyrus in Paris, and The Weeknd in Los Angeles. Those concerts were later filmed and released as full-length performance specials on Spotify.
The Tokyo show caps off a landmark year for the Puerto Rican superstar, who was named Spotify’s Global Top Artist for the fourth time in 2025. Earlier this month, he also headlined the ‘Super Bowl Halftime Show’, where he was joined by special guests Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin in a celebration of Puerto Rican culture, as per Variety.
