New Delhi, Feb 20 (.) Workers of the Indian Youth Congress staged a protest on Friday during the AI Summit held at Bharat Mandapam.
The protesters raised slogans against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accusing him of compromising the nation’s integrity. Leaders of the Youth Congress alleged that the government is avoiding serious questions related to the country’s resources and data security under the guise of AI and digital platforms.
They claimed that the summit has been turned into a mere publicity exercise, while the youth’s concerns about employment, education, and technological transparency are not being meaningfully addressed.
Notably, the Indian National Congress (INC) has been consistently targeting the PM over the AI Summit. On Wednesday, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said that instead of leveraging India’s talent and data, the AI Summit had turned into a chaotic public relations spectacle.
He alleged that Indian data was being offered for sale at the summit and that Chinese products were being showcased.
