Los Angeles, Feb 26 (.) American actors Moon Bloodgood and Kekoa Kekumano have been added as series regulars for the second season of Netflix’s mystery-thriller “Untamed”, produced by Warner Bros. Television and John Wells Productions.
The series, co-created by Mark L. Smith and Elle Smith, chronicles the perilous assignments of National Parks Service agent Kyle Turner (Eric Bana), who enforces human law within some of the world’s most remote and unforgiving wildernesses.
In its second season, the series follows Turner as he’s called to investigate a mysterious death in Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park, where local tensions and the volatile, living landscape become an unpredictable force.
Bloodgood will play Layla Hale, deeply connected to Hawaii; she’s funny, confident and intuitive. She’s able to sense Turner’s suffering and helps bring out a softer side.
Kekumano will play Marcus Sawada, a local Hawaiian Volcanoes Park Ranger assigned to assist Turner in the murder investigation, reports DEADLINE.
The Season 2 cast also includes Shea Whigham as Ray Burkart and Kelly Hu as Awapuhi. Unlike the first season, filmed in British Columbia as a stand-in for Yosemite, the new season will be shot entirely on location in Hawaii. The six-episode season is scheduled to begin filming in the spring. . . .
