New Delhi, Feb 27 (.) In a moment straight out of a fairytale, star couple Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna embarked on a new chapter of their lives on Thursday, tying the knot in an intimate yet grand ceremony in Udaipur.
Surrounded by family and close friends, the beloved duo sealed their love in a traditional wedding that has since sent fans into a celebratory frenzy.
Sharing dreamy pictures from the ceremony, Rashmika took to Instagram to introduce her husband to the world with a heartfelt note overflowing with love and gratitude. Through her message, she thanked Vijay for teaching her “what true love feels like” and showing her “what being in peace feels like.”
She began her note, “Hi my loves, Introducing to you now ‘My Husband’! Mr. Vijay Deverakonda!! The man who taught me what true love feels like, the man who showed me what being in peace feels like! The man who told me everyday that dreaming big was absolutely ok and constantly telling me I was capable of achieving something much more than what I could possibly think I ever could!”
“The man who’s never stopped me from dancing like no one’s watching…the man who showed me travelling with friends is the best thing ever, and trust me I could write a book on this man! I’ve become the woman I have always dreamt of being, because you made her who she is today! I’ve truly been blessed,” Rashmika added.
Affectionately calling him “Viju,” she continued, “Vijju I am always short of words to describe the feelings I have for you!! I’ve always told you that!! For her big day, Rashmika stunned in a rust-hued saree by Anamika Khanna, pairing it with heavy traditional jewellery that elevated her bridal glow. Vijay complemented her in a white dhoti with a matching dupatta, accessorised with gold jewellery, a regal kamarbandh, layered necklaces and studs, embodying understated royalty.
As soon as the couple shared their wedding moments, congratulatory messages poured in from across the film fraternity. Rashmika and Vijay previously shared screen space in the 2018 romantic comedy blockbuster Geetha Govindam and the 2019 action drama Dear Comrade, where their chemistry first won audiences over.
