New Delhi, Feb 28 (.) Ahead of what is expected to be one of the biggest live music events in the national capital this year, Punjabi music sensation Karan Aujla met Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, a day before his much-anticipated stadium concert in the city.
Taking to Instagram, CM Rekha Gupta shared a video from her meeting with the ‘Winning Speech’ hitmaker and praised his cultural impact.
“Met Karan Aujla! Artists like him don’t just perform, they move generations. And Delhi? We’re not just part of the culture. We’re shaping its future. The capital is stepping into its next cultural chapter,” she wrote.
Aujla is set to kick off the highly anticipated ‘P-POP CULTURE India Tour 2026’ with a potentially record-shattering stadium show at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on Saturday. The tour is organised and promoted by Team Innovation.
The ‘P-POP CULTURE’ tour forms part of Aujla’s expansive global run, which began in late 2025 in Abu Dhabi and spans major markets including the United States, Europe, Canada and the United Kingdom before culminating in India.
The India leg, running from February through April 2026, promises stadium-scale production and high-energy arena performances across the country.
The 11-city India schedule begins in New Delhi on February 28, followed by Mumbai and Pune on March 3 with special Holi Edition shows. The tour will then head to Ahmedabad (March 7), Chandigarh (March 14), Indore (March 21) and Bengaluru (March 29). April stops include Kolkata (April 3), Jaipur (April 5), Lucknow (April 10) and Ludhiana (April 12), marking one of the most ambitious nationwide tours by a Punjabi artist to date.
