New Delhi, Feb 28 (.) The makers of ‘Dacoit’ have unveiled their much-awaited love track ‘Rubaroo’, offering audiences a glimpse into the emotional core of the film. Featuring Mrunal Thakur and Adivi Sesh, the song is a soulful ode to first love and quiet vulnerability.

Sung by Faheem Abdullah and Chinmayi Sripada, with lyrics by Ritesh Rajwada and music composed by Bheems Ceciroleo, ‘Rubaroo’ blends tenderness with emotional depth.

Speaking in a press note, Faheem Abdullah said recording the song felt like stepping into someone’s most vulnerable memory of love. He said the melody carries tenderness along with a lingering depth that listeners would feel.

Chinmayi Sripada said she connected with the song’s quiet intensity. Recording it in two languages required honouring not just the lyrics but also the emotional rhythm of each version, which made the experience special for her.

Adivi Sesh said music remains one of the purest ways to communicate emotion. He added that ‘Rubaroo’ captures an honest and vulnerable kind of love, and credited the singers for giving the Hindi version its soul.

Mrunal Thakur said first love carries a rare purity and noted that the song allows the emotion to breathe without being dramatic, which she found deeply moving.

Shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu, ‘Dacoit’ has its story and screenplay jointly crafted by Adivi Sesh and Shaneil Deo, who also directs the film. The project also features Anurag Kashyap in a prominent role.

‘Dacoit’ is scheduled to release in theatres on April 10.
