‎New Delhi, March 4 (.) Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Thursday greeted the nation on the occasion of Holi, describing the festival as a reflection of India’s multicultural ethos and enduring tradition of harmony.
‎In a message shared on X, Kharge said, “Holi is a festival that expresses the soul of our vibrant, multi-coloured and multicultural society. It celebrates the tradition of unity in diversity, mutual harmony, and brotherhood that has been the hallmark of our civilization for centuries.”
‎Extending his wishes to citizens across the country, he added, “On this joyous occasion that bridges distances and brings hearts closer, I extend my heartfelt greetings to all of you on Holi. May your life always be filled and drenched with the colors of happiness.”
‎Holi, celebrated across India and by Indian communities around the world, marks the arrival of spring and symbolises the victory of good over evil. The festival is known for its vibrant use of colours, community gatherings, and the strengthening of social bonds, cutting across regional, linguistic and cultural differences.
