Tirupati, Feb 11 (.) Amara Raja Energy and Mobility Limited (ARE&M) on Wednesday reported a profit before exceptional items and tax of ₹251.28 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2025.
The company’s revenue from operations grew 6 per cent year-on-year to ₹3,350.84 crore, backed by strong domestic automotive demand and steady industrial battery performance.
The company’s automotive battery business continued to be the primary growth driver, supported by rising OEM volumes, especially in the domestic four-wheeler segment, the company said in a release here.
The industrial battery segment posted stable numbers, led by consistent demand in the UPS space, while telecom customers increasingly shifted towards advanced Li-ion battery solutions.
Export revenues, however, saw a decline during the quarter due to geopolitical disruptions impacting global trade.
Significantly, the New Energy business crossed ₹200 crore in quarterly revenue, marking an important milestone for the company and underscoring the growing traction for telecom battery packs in the domestic market.
Commenting on the performance, Harshavardhana Gourineni, Executive Director – Automotive and Industrial, said the battery business delivered a strong quarter on the back of robust OEM demand, adding that the company’s diversified portfolio helped mitigate challenges in certain export markets.
Vikramadithya Gourineni, Executive Director – New Energy Business, said progress at the customer qualification plant and R&D production facility remains on track, with commercial cell supplies expected to begin early next financial year.
Chairman and Managing Director Jayadev Galla said the quarter’s performance reflects steady progress in strengthening the company’s capabilities across the energy and mobility value chain, positioning Amara Raja to capitalise on the convergence of sustainable energy and mobility solutions.
