Los Angeles, Feb 18 (.) A new adult animated comedy, Anchivo Motors, is in development from veteran writer-producers Brett Cawley and Robert Maitia, longtime creative forces behind American Dad!.
The series revolves around a family-owned auto dealership, where a former baseball star plots his second act as a car salesman, and marks the first original sale for Cawley and Maitia, reports DEADLINE.
Underground, the management and production company behind Netflix’s adult animated comedy series Strip Law, premiering February 20, is attached to produce. The company’s Steve Fisher and Trevor Engelson will serve as executive producers.
Beyond their work on American Dad!, Cawley and Maitia previously served as writer-producers on Marvel’s M.O.D.O.K., the adult stop-motion comedy co-created by and starring Patton Oswalt. . . .
