    Bengaluru, Jan 9 (.) Asia’s largest exhibition on metal forming and manufacturing technologies, IMTEX FORMING 2026, is set to showcase cutting-edge innovations and position India as a hub for advanced manufacturing.
    Scheduled from 21 to 25 January at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), the five-day event will bring together over 600 exhibitors from 20 countries, spanning four exhibition halls and covering 46,000 square metres.
    The exhibition will feature the latest in laser-based applications, additive manufacturing, Industry 4.0 solutions, precision levellers, servo presses, welding technologies, and 3D printing, attracting visitors from automotive, aerospace, defence, medical equipment, power, construction, and electronics sectors.
    Concurrent events will include Tooltech for machine tool accessories and CAD/CAM solutions, Digital Manufacturing for real-time industrial technologies, Weldexpo in association with IIW-India, and co-located Moldex India and Fastenex India focusing on moulding, fasteners, and fixing technologies.
    Parallel programs such as the International Seminar on Forming Technology, i2 Academia Square, and the Jagruti-IMTMA Youth Programme will highlight research, innovation, and industry-academia engagement.
    Mohini Kelkar, President of IMTMA, said, “Metal forming accounts for 29% of the Indian machine tool market and is poised for substantial growth. In FY25, consumption reached ₹9,139 crore, while exports grew by 6% year-on-year, led by presses and bending machines.”
    Jibak Dasgupta, Director General & CEO, IMTMA, added, “IMTEX FORMING 2026 will accelerate domestic manufacturing and exports by showcasing advanced technologies across sectors, driving productivity and digital transformation in India’s industrial landscape.”
