New Delhi, March 2 (.) The much-awaited third season of the Hindi drama series ‘Aspirants’ is all set to premiere this month, with the makers unveiling a new poster featuring Naveen Kasturia on Monday.
Backed by The Viral Fever (TVF) and directed by Deepesh Sumitra Jagdish, the upcoming season promises to take viewers deeper into the personal and professional battles of its beloved characters. The new chapter will begin streaming on Prime Video in India from March 13.
Announcing the release, the makers wrote on social media, “Preparation sirf career ka nahi, rishton ka bhi AspirantsOnPrime, New Season, March 13.” The poster has already sparked excitement among fans eager to see what lies ahead.
‘Season 3’ follows DM Abhilash, played by Naveen Kasturia, across two timelines. In the present, an inquiry against Abhilash is initiated by Assistant Labour Commissioner (ALC) Sandeep Ohlan, putting strain on his friendships while a new rival threatens his professional ambitions.
The ensemble cast includes Shivankit Singh Parihar, Abhilash Thapliyal, Sunny Hinduja, Namita Dubey, Tengam Celine, and newcomer Jatin Goswami.
The earlier seasons chronicled Abhilash’s journey as he balanced his aspirations of becoming an IAS officer with the complexities of friendship, love and ambition. ‘Season 2’ saw Abhilash, SK and Guri confront the realities of administrative service and evolving relationships.
Reflecting on the show’s progression, former director Apoorv Singh Karki had earlier said, “Aspirants 2 takes the characters forward, dives deep within the world of UPSC prep. In addition, it reveals the ground reality of doing an administrative job. What is the real battlefield? Is it the prep or is it the posting?”
“We were overwhelmed by season one’s success. We hope season 2 brings much love from the people. TVF is a master in creating universes. Aspirants is one such beautiful world we are all proud of,” he added.
With the countdown officially underway, fans can mark their calendars for March 13 as ‘Aspirants Season 3’ begins streaming.
