    New Delhi, Jan 15 (.) Celebrities from across Indian cinema have extended their wishes to their fans on the occasion of harvest festivals.
    From Bollywood star Akshay Kumar to South cinema icons Mahesh Babu and Nagarjuna, the celebrations were marked with joy and festive spirit.
    Akshay Kumar took to Instagram to share a photo, wishing his fans a “happy Makar Sankranthi.”
    Critically acclaimed actor Manoj Bajpayee also extended his greetings to those celebrating Pongal and Makar Sankranti in India. “Happy Makar Sankranthi and Pongal,” he wrote on his Instagram handle.
    On the occasion of Bhogi, the first day of the four-day harvest festival of Pongal, Mahesh Babu addressed his Southern state fans through his Instagram account.
    Shilpa Shetty shared a beautiful photo celebrating the harvest festival, highlighting the diversity of India.
    Nagarjuna marked both Sankranthi and the 50th anniversary of his family’s production house, Annapurna Studios, founded by his father Akkineni Nageswara Rao.
    Taking to his X handle, he wrote, “Wishing a Happy Sankranti to one and all. Today is the 50th anniversary of Annapurna Studios built by my father, Akkineni Nageswara Rao to establish the Telugu film industry in Hyderabad!! I can proudly say that his vision has been accomplished and it remains to be one of the most premier film Studios in the country, providing employment to thousands of people directly and indirectly!! On this occasion, my gratitude to the staff of Annapurna Studios and the Telugu film industry for their invaluable support.”

    In January, major harvest festivals like Pongal, Lohri, Makar Sankranti, Uttarayana, Makaravilakku and Magh Bihu were observed with great enthusiasm across India.
