Mumbai, Jan 5 (.) Bollywood star Deepika Padukone marked her 40th birthday by unveiling a new initiative christened ‘The Onset Programme’, which is designed to open doors for new and young creative talent.
This is the next step in ‘With Me’ platform, which aims to give new creative artists who want to build a career in the world of Indian film, TV and advertising.
The programme will provide learning opportunities for talented individuals and offer a platform for advancement for those with the experience and skills to manage their own projects. The first phase will include tasks such as writing, directing, camera, lighting, editing, sound, art, clothing design, hairstyling, makeup, and production.
Sharing a video on her Instagram handle, Deepika said, “For the past year, I have felt deeply about identifying the best creative talent from India and beyond and giving them a platform to be seen, heard, and experienced. I am delighted to announce the launch of ‘The Onset Program’ and I can’t wait to introduce you all to the next generation of creative talent.”
Taking forward its vision of recognising creative talent from India and abroad, Deepika Padukone’s ‘The Onset Program’ is now available on where people can submit their work and get a chance to work with the best in the industry.
