Hyderabad, Feb 4 (.) Gamepoint, a technology-enabled sports infrastructure startup, has raised ₹7 crore in a Pre-Series A funding round as it looks to scale its multi-sport centre network and strengthen its digital and operational backbone.
The round was led by Dr Raj P Narayanam, Founder of Zaggle, and Aditya Vuchi, General Partner at VCMint, with participation from Praveen Raju and other investors, the Startup company said in a release here on Wednesday.
Founded by Aditya Reddy and Siddharth Reddy, Gamepoint operates a chain of professionally managed, technology-driven multi-sport centres offering coaching programmes, pay-and-play formats, memberships, and corporate sports solutions.
The company currently operates across Hyderabad and Warangal.
From a business perspective, the funding will enable Gamepoint to pursue an aggressive scale-up strategy.
Over the next five years, the startup plans to expand to more than 300 centres across metro, Tier I and Tier II cities, targeting access for over one crore sports participants nationwide.
A significant portion of the capital will also be invested in strengthening its proprietary technology platform to improve customer experience, optimise centre utilisation, and enhance operational efficiency.
Commenting on the investment, the founders in a joint statement said the funding positions the company to consolidate its leadership in Hyderabad while accelerating entry into new markets. Investors highlighted Gamepoint’s disciplined expansion model, predictable unit economics, and rising demand for organised sports infrastructure driven by increasing health awareness and policy support.
With initiatives such as the Khelo India Mission gaining momentum and India preparing to host the Commonwealth Games 2030 while bidding for the Olympic Games 2036, the organised sports and fitness segment is expected to see sustained investment. Gamepoint aims to capitalise on this tailwind by building a scalable, asset-light yet technology-led sports centre network across the country.
To date, the company has trained over 12,000 students, enabled more than three lakh people to play sports, and organised over 700 sports events, underlining its growing traction in India’s organised sports ecosystem.
