Hyderabad, Mar 2 (.) Gamepoint, a technology-enabled sports company, on Monday said it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CoLLearn Sports to jointly develop trained professionals for the sports industry, marking a strategic move to strengthen its talent pipeline amid expansion plans.
Under the partnership, CoLLearn will launch its Full Job-Integrated Sports Management Programme in Hyderabad, with Gamepoint serving as the official Internship and Placement Partner, the Sports company said in a release.
The programme integrates academic learning with real-time operational exposure. Students enrolled in the course will begin structured On-the-Job Training (OJT) from the first month, gaining hands-on experience in live sports operations and related business functions within Gamepoint’s centres.
Gamepoint currently operates its centres entirely in Telangana, with seven standalone owned facilities in Hyderabad and one in Warangal.
Additionally, it runs three centres in Hyderabad through school partnerships and two within residential communities.
As part of its growth strategy, the company has set a target to train 15,000 to 20,000 students in Hyderabad over the next two to three years, positioning itself as a key player in grassroots sports development and sports-linked career creation.
The company employs over 50 coaches across its network.
Gamepoint, which recently raised Rs 7 crore in a Pre-Series A funding round, plans to expand its footprint across India, targeting over 300 centres in the next five years.
Aditya Reddy, Co-founder and CEO of Gamepoint, said, “This partnership allows us to contribute to building that talent pipeline by providing practical exposure to aspiring sports management professionals.”
Srishty Jain, Founder and CEO of CoLLearn Sports, said the structured OJT from the first month ensures that students become part of the industry immediately rather than waiting until graduation. She described Gamepoint as an ideal industry partner for the programme in Hyderabad.
CoLLearn’s Full Job-Integrated Sports Management Programme follows a learning-by-doing approach from day one. The collaboration aims to strengthen the industry-academia bridge in Telangana and promote performance-driven, employment-linked career pathways in sports management.
