Pune, Jan 20 (.) Team Abhyuday Racing of G H Raisoni College of Engineering and Management, Pune, secured an All-India Rank at the SAEINDIA eBAJA 2026 Racing Competition.
GHRCEM, Pune team, competing against top engineering institutions across the country, completed the rigorous four-hour endurance race with its electric off-road vehicle, demonstrating exceptional engineering excellence, reliability, teamwork, and innovation.
The achievement underscores GHRCEM Pune’s strong focus on experiential learning, industry-aligned education, and the growing capabilities of students in electric vehicle engineering and motorsport technology.
Adding to this achievement, Dr. Asha Shendge, Faculty Advisor of Team Abhyuday Racing, was honored with the Dronacharya Award for her outstanding mentorship to guiding the team towards excellence, said release today.
The teams performance also attracted strong industry interest, with several leading automotive and mobility organizations offering placement and career opportunities to the students.
