Bhubaneswar, Dec 26 (.) Reaffirming its commitment towards green energy usage in future and to meet the increasing demand of RE compliance, GEDCOL SAIL Power Corporation Limited (GSPCL), a Joint Venture Company of GEDCOL and SAIL, is establishing a 10 MW Small Hydro Electric Project at Mandira Dam, in Sundergarha district.
In this connection, GSPCL and SAIL have signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) on December 24, 2025, official sources said here on Friday.
The PPA signing ceremony was held in the presence of Vishal Kumar Dev, Odisha Principal Secretary, Energy Department, CMD, OHPC and Chairman, Green Energy Development Corporation of Odisha Ltd. (GEDCOL).
As per the agreement, the entire power generated from the 10 MW Mandira Small Hydro Electric Project will be utilised by RSP. Power evacuation from the project will be carried out through the Kuaramunda Grid Sub-station.
