New Delhi, Feb 20 (.) Residents of Delhi and the adjoining NCR woke up to a hazy morning on Friday, with visibility reduced across several areas.
According to the India Meteorological Department, the national capital is likely to experience calm and cold conditions in the morning, with the maximum temperature hovering around 28 degrees Celsius and the minimum expected to settle near 11 degrees Celsius.
The winter chill has begun to recede across several parts of North India, including Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh. Temperatures in these states are gradually rising, with daytime readings expected to increase by 2–3 degrees Celsius in the coming days.
The daytime temperature in the capital is likely to settle around 27-28 degrees Celsius, while the nighttime temperature is expected to hover between 10-11 degrees Celsius. Humidity levels are likely to remain around 60 percent.
However, weather conditions are expected to stay largely unchanged, with clear skies likely to contribute to a further rise in temperatures.
On Saturday, the daytime temperature is expected to range between 28-29 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature may hover between 12-13 degrees Celsius.
