Hyderabad, Jan 6 (.) Sigachi Industries Ltd., a global manufacturer of pharmaceutical excipients and active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), on Tuesday announced the appointment of Atul Dhavle as its Chief People Officer (CPO).
In his new role, Dhavle will work closely with the Board and the leadership team to align the company’s human capital strategy with its long-term growth objectives, the company said in a release.
His responsibilities will include strengthening leadership capability, organizational design, talent and capability development, and governance and people processes.
He will also play a key role in ensuring cultural coherence and organizational resilience as the company expands across businesses, geographies, and operating models.
Commenting on the appointment, Lijo Chacko, Deputy Group CEO, Sigachi Industries, said Dhavle’s experience in building scalable people and leadership systems in complex industry environments would be a significant asset to the organization.
Dhavle’s ability to combine strategic clarity with disciplined execution would help strengthen leadership depth, reinforce company culture, and support sustainable growth, he added.
With nearly three decades of experience in strategic human capital leadership, Dhavle said he looked forward to working with the leadership team at Sigachi Industries to build a strong, people-centric organization.
Prior to joining Sigachi Industries, Dhavle served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Granules India Limited, where he led transformation initiatives across manufacturing sites, R&D, and corporate functions.
He has also held senior leadership roles at organizations including Bharat Forge, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, DuPont Fibers, and Mahindra.
