Chennai, Feb 6 (.) Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President
M K Stalin on Friday night termed as yet another proud moment, the
Indian team conqeuring the U-19 World Cup title for the sixth time
defeated an undefeated England by 100 in a high scoring clash at
Harare and said Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s breathtaking innings will be
rememebred for years.
In a post on X, Mr Stalin said “Congratulations to our Team India on
lifting the ICC Men’s U19WorldCup and giving the nation yet another
proud moment, a true triumph of talent and temperament”.
“Vaibhav Sooryavanshi’s breathtaking innings in the final and his
extraordinary tournament will be remembered for years to come”,
he wrote.
“May this young brigade now turn promise into many victories as
they rise to wear India’s colours on the world stage”, Mr Stalin
added.
