stumps on Day 3 against Bengal in the Ranji Trophy Elite semifinals at the Bengal Cricket
Academy, here on Tuesday.
After posting 328 in their first innings, Bengal bowled out J&K for 302 to bag the all-important
lead.
Md Shami was brilliant with the ball bagging 8 for 90, recording his best bowling figure in an innings at the First-Class level.
Bengal, in their second innings, were bundled out for just 99 to hand visitors 126-run target.
Chasing the total, J&K were 43/2 at the end of the third day, still needing 83 runs more to
seal a place in the final.
