New Delhi, Feb 13 (.) Nani’s much-anticipated action thriller ‘The Paradise’ has been postponed, with the makers officially announcing a new theatrical release date of August 21, 2026.
The film was initially scheduled for March 26, 2026.
Taking to Instagram, the team confirmed the delay and shared a fresh release poster. “We don’t want to rush. We need time to deliver it. TheParadise – 21-08-2026,” read the caption, signaling the makers’ commitment to ensuring the film meets audience expectations.
Directed by Srikanth Odela, ‘The Paradise’ marks his reunion with Nani following their successful collaboration on Dasara in 2023.
Nani plays the role of ‘Dhagad’. When filming began on June 21, 2025, the makers released a first-look image from the sets, showing the actor in character with green leather shoes and a distinctive anklet.
The story centres on a marginalised tribal community long denied basic rights, whose struggle for justice gains momentum under a new leader challenging an oppressive system.
The ensemble cast includes Kayadu Lohar as the female lead, alongside Mohan Babu, Raghav Juyal as the antagonist, and Sampoornesh Babu in pivotal roles.
The August release positions ‘The Paradise’ during a festive window that includes Raksha Bandhan and Janmashtami, while also avoiding a crowded March box office that features major releases like ‘Toxic’ and ‘Dhurandhar 2’.
