New Delhi, Jan 30 (.) Following its December 2023 debut and success in the top 10 charts, the Money Heist spin-off is officially returning. The second season, titled ‘Berlin and the Lady with an Ermine’, is set to premiere globally in May 2026. The first teaser trailer has already dropped, getting fans excited, entertained, and engaged.
Netflix officially confirmed the series’ return on May 15, 2026, via a ‘First Look’ announcement in late 2025. In January 2026, the streaming giant released the first teaser trailer for ‘Berlin Season 2’.
The trailer was shared with the caption, “The gang is ready for the most artistic heist in history. Teaser trailer of ‘Berlin and The Lady With An Ermine’. Available on May 15 BerlinNetflix.”
The upcoming season will consist of eight episodes, with filming having started in January 2026.
While Season 1 focused on a jewel heist in Paris, Season 2 shifts to Seville, Spain, and carries the subtitle Berlin and the Lady with an Ermine.
According to the official synopsis given by Netflix, the gang reunites for a “master heist” involving the famous painting ‘The Lady with an Ermine’. However, in true Berlin fashion, things are not as straightforward as they seem.
“Berlin and Damián bring the gang together, this time in Seville, to pull off a master heist: pretending to steal the Lady with an Ermine. Pretending? Why? Because their real target is the Duke of Málaga and his wife, a couple who think they can blackmail Berlin. What they don’t expect is that their challenge will awaken Berlin’s darkest side- and his thirst for revenge,” read the plot summary.
The core cast from Season 1 returns, including Pedro Alonso as Berlin, Michelle Jenner as Keila, Tristán Ulloa as Damián, Begoña Vargas as Cameron, Julio Peña Fernández as Roi, and Joel Sánchez as Bruce.
New additions include Inma Cuesta as Candela, José Luis García-Pérez as the Duke of Málaga, and Marta Nieto as the Duchess of Málaga. Candela is set to join the gang and even steal Berlin’s heart, adding fresh dynamics to the series.
