Bhubaneswar, Feb 14 (.) National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), a Navratna CPSE under the Ministry of Mines, Government of India, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NLC India Ltd. (NLCIL) to strengthen collaboration in its 1080 MW thermal captive power project and renewable energy development initiatives.
The MoU was signed on Saturday in Mahabalipuram, Tamil Nadu, in the presence of Jagdish Arora, Director (Projects & Technical) of NALCO, Prasanna Kumar Motupalli, CMD of NLCIL, and other Directors of NLCIL.
The agreement aims to support NALCO’s captive and long-term power requirements while promoting sustainable energy solutions.
It also provides a structured framework to explore long-term power tie-ups and coal supply arrangements.
The partnership envisions joint project development in the future to further strengthen collaboration between the two companies.
