    Hyderabad, Feb 26 (.) Singapore-based Optimum Solutions and Japan-based ABeam Consulting on Thursday inaugurated a jointly operated Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Hyderabad to support global digital transformation programmes and expand their technology workforce.
    The companies said the new IT centre, focused on artificial intelligence, cloud computing, data engineering and enterprise platforms, is expected to grow to a workforce of 2,000 employees by 2030, strengthening Hyderabad’s role in their global delivery network.
    The facility will provide services in application engineering, digital solutions and business operations, integrating Singapore-based engineering capabilities with Japanese consulting expertise to deliver end-to-end enterprise transformation for global clients.
    Telangana IT and Industries Department Chief Strategy Officer Sreekant Lanka, who attended the inauguration, said Hyderabad has emerged as a preferred destination for global capability centres due to its strong talent pool, reliable infrastructure and stable policy environment.
    Company officials said the GCC would strengthen partnerships with universities and skilling institutions to build advanced capabilities in AI, cloud and digital platforms while supporting global enterprises.
    Nanda Appanaboyina, GM – GCC said, “Hyderabad offers an engineering talent pool that is ready for complex, high-value technology work. The centre gives us a strong foundation to build advanced capabilities in AI, cloud and digital platforms”.
    ABeam India Head Yasuhisa Omura said, “Hyderabad centre would enhance the company’s ability to deliver enterprise transformation services worldwide and reinforce the city’s position as a major global technology hub”.
    “With the Hyderabad Global Capability Centre now operational, the Optimum–ABeam collaboration enters a new phase of integrated global delivery. The GCC strengthens the Japan–Singapore–India technology link and reinforces Hyderabad’s position as a trusted hub for high-value, enterprise-focused digital transformation for companies worldwide, Yasuhisa added.
