Hyderabad, Dec 28 (.) Actor Prabhas, who attended the pre-release event of his upcoming film ‘The RajaSaab’ in Hyderabad on Saturday evening, spoke about his experience of working with Sanjay Dutt, who plays a pivotal role in the horror-fantasy entertainer.
Addressing the audience at the event, Prabhas shared his admiration for Dutt’s commanding screen presence, recalling how watching the veteran actor’s scenes during the dubbing process left a lasting impression on him.
“Sanjay sir… just your screen presence is more than enough. When there’s a close-up on you, you completely consume the screen. When I watched his scenes during dubbing, I started forgetting my own scenes,” Prabhas said.
The trailer of the much-anticipated film was unveiled in September this year.
The three-minute-and-31-second trailer opens on a gripping note, showing Prabhas’ character being controlled through hypnosis by Boman Irani’s character, setting a dark and mysterious tone. The trailer also offers glimpses of romance between Prabhas and the film’s three female leads.
‘The RajaSaab’ is written and directed by Maruthi and produced by People Media Factory in association with IVY Entertainment.
The film features an ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt, Boman Irani, Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Riddhi Kumar alongside Prabhas.
The film is slated for a pan-India theatrical release on January 9, 2026, in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
