Telugu superstar Allu Arjun created a wave of excitement in Tokyo during his recent visit to Japan, where he delighted fans by addressing them in Japanese and even delivering a popular dialogue from ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ in the language. His spontaneous gesture drew thunderous cheers and applause from the crowd.
Allu Arjun visited Japan along with co-star Rashmika Mandanna as part of the promotional campaign ahead of the film’s grand premiere. ‘Pushpa 2’ officially released in Japan on January 16, 2026.
One of the most memorable moments of the event came when Allu Arjun recreated a dialogue from the film in Japanese, sending fans into a frenzy.
Videos shared by the makers showed massive fan turnout, with many attendees holding posters and wearing masks inspired by his iconic character, Pushpa Raj.
Sharing clips from the premiere, the team wrote, “Pushpa Mania At The Special Premiere In Japan. The Japanese audience are showering their love and admiration for Icon Star Allu arjun at the grand premiere.”
Rashmika Mandanna also interacted warmly with fans, expressing her excitement about the film and thanking them for the overwhelming welcome in Tokyo.
Taking to Instagram, Allu Arjun posted a picture from the event and wrote, “Pushpa2TheRule releases in Japan today. Grateful for the immense love and warmth from Japanese fans. Hope you all enjoy experiencing this film on the big screen.”
Directed by Sukumar B, Pushpa 2: The Rule released in 2024 and went on to become a massive box-office success. The film is a sequel to 2021’s ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ and stars Allu Arjun alongside Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Jagapathi Babu, Sunil, and Rao Ramesh. The makers are expected to reunite for the third installment in the Pushpa franchise.
