Chennai, Feb 9 (.) Russia’s integrated nuclear power major Rosatom on Monday said it is interested in the Indian composites market and claimed the company has the necessary capabilities.
“We are interested in the Indian market, which offers the most promising opportunities for expansion in the field of composites. The composite division has comprehensive competencies across the entire manufacturing process, from the design and manufacture of specialised equipment to the production of finished, hi-tech products,” said Yuri Svistunov, Deputy Director General for Research and Technology at the division.
“As the main technology integrator, we offer our Indian partners not just individual components, but practical and effective solutions,” he added.
Rosatom’s composites division demonstrated its products at ChemTech World Expo 2016 in Mumbai.
The event brought together over 700 companies from India, the CIS, Asia, and Europe.
The “Made in Russia” exhibition booth was arranged jointly by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Russian Export Centre. The division presented its main materials for the composite industry, including carbon fibers, diverse fabrics, prepregs, and thermoplastics. . VJ SAS .
