New Delhi, Jan 13 (.) Actor Saiyami Kher has begun shooting for an untitled drama directed by fashion designer-turned-filmmaker Vikram Phadnis. The film features Saiyami in a strong leading role alongside Vineet Kumar Singh and Tahir Raj Bhasin.
Sharing her excitement about the project, Saiyami said the film marks a meaningful start to 2026 for her.
“This film came to me at a very special time. The story resonated deeply with me, and I’m truly grateful that Vikram thought me worthy of this role. It’s a challenging part that demands emotional honesty, and I couldn’t have asked for a more exciting way to begin the year as an actor,” she said.
The project, produced by Reel Euphoria in association with Knight Sky Movies, has officially gone on floors and marks Saiyami’s first release of the year, underlining her continued focus on content-driven cinema.
For Vikram Phadnis, this film is his third directorial venture and his first Hindi-language project as a director.
Apart from this untitled drama, Saiyami Kher will next be seen in Priyadarshan’s Haiwaan, which stars Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan. Her recent work includes Ghoomer opposite Abhishek Bachchan, Agni with Pratik Gandhi, and Jaat, co-starring Sunny Deol.
