New Delhi, Feb 13 (.) The makers of ‘Ginny Wedss Sunny 2’, starring Avinash Tiwary and Medha Shankar, have officially announced the film’s release date.
The romantic entertainer is set to arrive in cinemas on April 24.
The team also unveiled the film’s poster, offering a glimpse into the vibrant world of the sequel.
According to a press note, the story unfolds against the backdrop of two contrasting personalities, a rugged wrestler and a free-spirited young woman, and captures the chaos, chemistry, and charm that emerge when their paths cross.
The film features an ensemble cast including Lillete Dubey, Sudhir Pandey, Govind Namdev, Gopi Bhalla, Nayani Dixit, Vishwanath Chatterjee, and Rohit Chaudhary.
The sequel is produced by Vinod Bachchan and Umesh Kumar Bansal, and directed by Prasshant Jha.
‘Ginny Wedss Sunny 2’ serves as a follow-up to the 2020 Netflix release Ginny Weds Sunny, which starred Yami Gautam and Vikrant Massey.
Earlier, producer Vinod Bachchan had expressed enthusiasm about expanding the franchise. “We are thrilled to bring a new chapter to the Ginny Weds Sunny universe. The immense love for the first film inspired us to explore fresh narratives and characters. With Avinash and Medha, we have discovered a refreshing and dynamic pairing.
