New Delhi, Jan 30 (.) Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday greeted the people of Assam, ahead of laying the foundation stone for the new legislative assembly building.
In a post on social media X, Shah said that it was a landmark day “as the foundation for the New Assam Legislative Assembly Building will be laid in Dibrugarh.”
The home minister added that, “When the complex is ready it will enhance the ease for the people in Upper Assam region in availing benefits of good governance.”
He said he was looking forward to attending the program later in the day.
He will also address a massive public rally at Khanikar Playground.
