Bengaluru, Feb 12 (.) Bengaluru is set to come alive as the world’s premier 10K road race, the Tata Consultancy Services World 10K Bengaluru (TCS World 10K), returns for its 18th edition on Sunday, 26 April 2026.
More than just a race, the event has evolved into a citywide celebration of fitness, community spirit, and social impact, with the 2025 edition alone generating a socio-economic and health impact valued at ₹262.43 crore.
Organisers Procam International announced that registrations for all on-ground and virtual categories will open on Friday at at 7:00 am.
Participants can choose from the Open 10K, Majja Run (4.2 km), Senior Citizens Run, Champions with Disability (3 km), and Virtual Run categories. For the first time, entries for the Open 10K will require a valid timing certificate, in line with the qualification criteria aimed at enhancing safety and competitiveness.

It has grown into a landmark community event that encourages preventive health, strengthens social initiatives, and celebrates the city’s spirit.”
The race route will start from Cubbon Road (opposite RSAOI Gate No. 5) and finish outside the Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw Parade Ground. Alongside elite athletes from around the globe, amateur runners and fitness enthusiasts are expected to participate, reflecting the event’s unique blend of competition and community celebration.
The TCS World 10K Bengaluru has consistently set benchmarks in social, health, economic, and environmental impact. In 2025, ₹3.83 crore was raised for charity, over 75 NGOs across 12 social themes were supported, 85 per cent of participants adopted tech-enabled fitness solutions, and preventive health engagement saw measurable increases, including 54.21 per cent running for better health and 47.94 per cent using exercise to manage stress.
The race also achieved Bronze Level Sustainability recognition from World Athletics, with zero-waste-to-landfill, CO₂ emission reduction, and eco-friendly practices across the event.
